CuppyTv Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026 • Version 2026-10-v1

1. Agreement and Who We Are

These Terms govern CuppyTv websites, applications, profiles, forms, Advocate tools, Initiatives, media, and related services. CuppyTv is operated by CuppyTv LLC, a mission-driven for-profit limited liability company and not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. By creating an account, getting Counted In, accepting these Terms, becoming an Advocate, submitting information, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Accounts are limited to people age 18 or older during this launch phase. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain control of your sign-in method. We may use reasonable verification, security, fraud-prevention, and integrity controls.

3. The People's Impact Network

CuppyTv connects people around Advocates, Causes, Initiatives, organizations, ideas, needs, resources, stories, and documented impact. You do not have to support every Cause, Advocate, Initiative, or position represented in the network. One relationship does not automatically create another.

4. Counted In and Relationships

Counted In means you joined the CuppyTv Impact Community. Entry attribution records how you arrived but does not by itself mean endorsement. Stand For, Stand With, Support, Participate, Follow, and Interest are distinct relationships and are not automatically inferred from each other. Available relationships can be changed or ended through your account.

5. Causes and Ownership of Advocacy

CuppyTv does not own what you stand for. Participation does not give CuppyTv, an Advocate, or an organization exclusive ownership of a Cause. Multiple people and Advocates may stand for or champion the same Cause. We may organize Causes into Categories and preserve your original wording while separately mapping it to a normalized Cause.

6. Advocates and Standards

An Advocate is a participant approved by CuppyTv to publicly champion one or more Causes. Membership alone does not make someone an Advocate. Activation may require Counted In status, at least one Stand For, qualifying membership, acceptance of current Advocate Standards, an approved profile, and CuppyTv approval. Advocates are independent participants, not employees, agents, joint venturers, or authorized spokespersons unless expressly agreed in writing. CuppyTv may pause, restrict, or remove Advocate privileges to protect people, privacy, safety, trust, legal compliance, or network integrity.

7. Impact Memberships and Renewals

CuppyTv may offer standard Impact Memberships, earned fundraising memberships available only after applicable qualification, and sponsored memberships. Membership does not guarantee Advocate approval, funding, assistance, sponsorship, media coverage, earnings, selection, or results. If a membership automatically renews, the checkout or membership offer will disclose renewal terms and how to cancel. Where applicable law requires advance renewal notice, CuppyTv or its billing provider will provide it.

8. Initiatives

Initiatives are specific projects or actions connected to a Cause. Supporting or participating in an Initiative does not automatically mean you Stand For its Cause or Stand With its leader. CuppyTv may propose, activate, pause, complete, archive, decline, or remove Initiatives and does not guarantee success, funding, Partners, targets, or results.

9. Tell CuppyTv

Tell CuppyTv is an intake and review channel for ideas, needs, people, resources, issues, opportunities, and stories. A submission does not create a duty for CuppyTv to investigate, respond, produce content, provide money or services, champion a Cause, or take action. Tell CuppyTv is not an emergency, crisis, medical, legal, housing, financial, or social-service provider. If someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency or crisis services. Submissions are treated as private within our review process by default, but CuppyTv does not promise absolute confidentiality.

10. User Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CuppyTv a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Services and to display content you choose to make public. This operational license does not transfer ownership of your Cause, identity, advocacy, or underlying intellectual property. Uses materially beyond ordinary operation may require separate permission or a release.

11. AI-Assisted Features

CuppyTv may use AI for limited tasks such as suggesting Cause mappings or drafting Advocate profile wording. AI suggestions may be inaccurate. Human confirmation controls public advocacy declarations, profile content, Advocate activation, and other material actions. AI does not automatically decide what you stand for, create public Causes, activate Advocates, approve memberships, or route Tell CuppyTv submissions during this launch phase.

12. Organizations, Partners, Sponsors, and Disclosures

Organizations may support Initiatives, stand for or champion Causes where available, provide resources, sponsor activities, or participate through Partner roles. Some Advocates or Partners may receive commissions, products, sponsorships, or other benefits. If you endorse or promote something and have a material connection people may not reasonably expect, you must disclose that connection clearly and conspicuously where required by law.

13. Purchases, Contributions, Fundraising, and Tax

CuppyTv is a for-profit LLC, not a 501(c)(3). Unless expressly stated otherwise by a qualified recipient, payments to CuppyTv, memberships, purchases, and amounts contributed through CuppyTv are not charitable contributions and may not be tax-deductible. Purchases, memberships, contributions, or fundraising activity do not guarantee selection for assistance, prizes, media coverage, influence, priority, or outcomes. Specific fundraising campaigns, giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, or third-party campaigns may have additional official rules.

14. Prohibited Conduct

Do not create fake supporters or engagement; impersonate, harass, threaten, exploit, dox, discriminate against, or direct abuse toward others; knowingly submit false, fraudulent, malicious, or misleading information; misuse private information; circumvent eligibility, attribution, integrity, security, or access controls; attack or disrupt the Services; violate law or another person's rights; or make unauthorized promises on behalf of CuppyTv.

15. Public Counts

CuppyTv may display People Counted In, People Standing, Initiative supporters, participants, Partner organizations, Advocate community size, and other counts. Different counts measure different relationships. We may suppress duplicates, bots, fraud, or manipulation and correct, cache, delay, reconcile, or adjust counts for integrity.

16. Leaving and Suspension

You may leave the Impact Community using available controls. Leaving removes you from active public counts and ends active relationships as implemented by the Services. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, Advocate Standards, law, safety requirements, or network-integrity rules. Lawful historical, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or anonymized records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with social platforms, ecommerce/payment providers, fundraising platforms, email, analytics, AI, hosting, and other services. Third parties have their own terms and privacy practices.

18. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. CUPPYTV DOES NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION OR THAT ADVOCACY, INITIATIVES, INTRODUCTIONS, MATCHES, FUNDRAISING, PARTNERSHIPS, CONTENT, OR COMMUNITY ACTIVITY WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT. CUPPYTV DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MENTAL-HEALTH, HOUSING, EMERGENCY, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THROUGH THE NETWORK UNLESS EXPRESSLY IDENTIFIED OTHERWISE.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUPPYTV AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUPPYTV'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO CUPPYTV FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS OR $100. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Responsibility for Your Conduct

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your submitted content, your violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by North Carolina law, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing suit, you and CuppyTv agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute by written notice and allow 30 days for resolution. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, legal proceedings may be brought in state or federal courts having jurisdiction in North Carolina. Eligible small-claims proceedings and urgent injunctive relief remain available.

22. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms and will post the updated version and effective date. We may require renewed acceptance for material changes. Questions: legal@cuppytv.com. CuppyTv LLC, United States.
