CuppyTv Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026 • Version 2026-10-v1
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how CuppyTv LLC collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information through CuppyTv websites, applications, Advocate tools, Counted In, Tell CuppyTv, and related services. Some information is intentionally public when you choose a public advocacy relationship; contact information and Tell CuppyTv submissions are private by default.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account/contact information; Counted In status and acquisition attribution; Stand For, Stand With, Support, Participate, Follow, Interest, and Advocate-interest relationships; exact raw answers and separate normalized Cause mappings; Advocate profile information, photos, handles, links, Standards acceptance and membership eligibility; Initiative and organization information; Tell CuppyTv submission text, status, consent choices, routing and operator notes; uploads; security/audit information; analytics events and pseudonymous identifiers; and membership/commerce attribution. Payment-card data may be handled by third-party providers.
3. Public, Private, and Internal Information
Advocate profiles are public after activation. Explicit Stand For or Stand With relationships may be displayed or included in public aggregate counts according to the product experience. Contact/authentication data, raw Tell CuppyTv submissions, private operator notes, integrity signals, and internal analytics are not intended to be public. Interest signals may be private and are not the same as a public Stand For declaration.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate accounts and the Impact Community; preserve attribution; display Causes, Advocates, Initiatives, and counts; process explicit relationships; personalize discovery; build and approve Advocate profiles; operate Advocate Concierge; route Tell CuppyTv submissions; send transactional communications; maintain security and integrity; prevent fraud and abuse; reconcile counts; comply with law; and understand whether the network is working.
5. Tell CuppyTv
Tell CuppyTv submissions are private by default within CuppyTv's review process and are available only to specifically authorized human reviewers during this launch phase. CuppyTv does not use AI to read, sort, or route private Tell CuppyTv submissions during this phase. Submission text is not intentionally sent to analytics. Certain submissions may be flagged for prompt human review using non-AI rules or the submitter's own urgent selection. We do not promise absolute confidentiality and may disclose information when authorized, reasonably necessary for safety, security, or operation, or required or permitted by law.
6. Information About Other People
You may submit information about another person. Please provide only what is reasonably necessary. CuppyTv may restrict access, decline to act, seek permission before public use, contact the submitter or subject where appropriate, or delete or restrict information where appropriate.
7. AI-Assisted Advocate Concierge
During Advocate onboarding, CuppyTv may send a limited subset of candidate-provided information to an AI provider to suggest Cause mappings or draft profile wording. The intended launch payload is limited to information such as public name, the candidate's own words, and available Cause names. CuppyTv does not intend to send the candidate's email, phone number, photo, Tell CuppyTv submissions, or unrelated Impact Graph data for these tasks. AI suggestions require human confirmation before material public relationships or profile content are created.
8. Analytics and Similar Technologies
CuppyTv may use analytics and anti-abuse technologies to measure page and funnel activity, source or channel, reliability, and security. Analytics identifiers are designed to be pseudonymous. CuppyTv does not intentionally send names, contact information, or Tell CuppyTv submission text to analytics. Browser or device technologies may be used for authentication, security, analytics, attribution, and preferences. Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out, CuppyTv will provide the required control.
9. Service Providers and Disclosures
CuppyTv may share information with service providers that help host the application, authenticate users, store files, send email, provide analytics, prevent abuse, or provide AI-assisted features. Planned launch providers include Supabase, Vercel, Postmark, PostHog, Cloudflare Turnstile, and an AI provider. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, to protect rights, safety, or security, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent. CuppyTv does not sell personal information to advertisers as part of the launch product design.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate active relationships, preserve attribution and Advocate or Standards records, prevent fraud, maintain security, satisfy accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain lawful historical or anonymized impact statistics. Different data types may have different retention periods, especially Tell CuppyTv and other sensitive information.
11. Leaving, Deletion, and Export
Leaving the Impact Community removes you from active counts and ends active relationships as implemented by the Services, but leaving is not the same as deleting your data. CuppyTv provides or plans to provide controls for data export and deletion requests. Deletion may be subject to lawful exceptions for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, required records, or anonymized statistics.
12. Security
CuppyTv uses safeguards appropriate to the Services, including server-only database access, deny-by-default database controls, scoped operator permissions, private storage for draft media, audit logs, bot protection, and integrity checks. No system is perfectly secure. CuppyTv will provide legally required breach notices where applicable.
13. Age and Minors
Accounts are limited to people age 18 or older during this launch phase. CuppyTv is not designed for children to create accounts. Adults may submit information involving minors, and additional permission may be required before a child's identity, image, or sensitive story is made public.
14. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, information about certain disclosures, or to opt out of certain processing. CuppyTv will honor rights required by applicable law and may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
15. Communications
CuppyTv may send transactional messages needed for sign-in, Counted In confirmation, Advocate onboarding, Tell CuppyTv status, security, and service operations. Marketing or update messages will follow applicable consent choices and law. You can opt out of marketing communications without leaving the network.
16. Business Transfers and Legal Requirements
If CuppyTv is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to applicable law. We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, or protect rights, safety, security, or network integrity.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as CuppyTv evolves. We will post the updated version and effective date and may provide additional notice or seek renewed consent when a material change requires it.
